I have realized, just recently, that when you type a foreign character (i.e., ñ) it comes out as either a diamond with a question mark or a blank square. My application will receive information from a user's file to set some text on the form (button text, window text, etc) (PLEASE DON'T CRITICIZE THIS!). The whole reason I allow this is because some people might speak different languages. This will probably be very inconvenient for foreign users typing a different language.
So my question is: is there a way coders can make VB correctly output (no squares) foreign characters (probably a code)? Thanks in advance!
