Ok...I have a working VB 6.0 application that's been in use for several years. I'm not a VB programmer, though I did stay at the Holiday Inn Express, and with enough persistence, I was able to get my app going. And it's been successful. Now, due to changes in vendor code and the need to move (kicking and screaming) into the 2000s, I want to change over to .Net. Lots of changes, lots of terminology differences.
Question: Should I use a conversion utility? I've done some investigation, and it appears that it's not being shipped with VS 2012. I have an MSDN subscription, so I could load up a VPC with VS 2008. Are there other utilities? What makes sense here?
Thanks!
