IBM 4820 POS Monitor Keypad, how to get it to work

I have set this device up in the IBM config utility as "keyboard1" and for the life of me I cant seem to get it to work. Since im using OPOS its a device not a normal keyboard or I would just use e.keycode to perform the fuction I want.

The device is online.

I tried using "if keyboard1.poskeydata=59 then, and stated what I wanted to application to perform nothing seems to happen. Dataeventenabled=true, the device is opened claimed and and enabled, not sure what im doing wrong.

Anyone with experience with this.
