Basically about 3 years ago I started with programming and to learn faster the basics I started a simple program, 3 years later I finish it, most of it, but there is a problem that I just can't get past and that problem is the settings, the program saves 2 .txt files with account, password, computer info like os, cpu, etc and 1 .txt for every account made (accounts are saved on an online database db4free.net for now) for now everything is greate until you realize that the .txt files can simply be deleted (the .txt files are encrypted, preview in attachments) or modify so its not the best idea to let them where the .exe is, putting them in the registry is not the best idea as there are alot of informations that are modify, writen, etc (from 100 to more that a 1000 depending on the number of accounts) so I tryed to put the files in another directory but there is no good place to put them (access denied, easy to find...) so what I'm looking for is a system that will allow to save all the information on a single file (I can do it on a .txt file) without making a normal person (no programming knowledge) think that there is where everyting is stored. Already tryed to put everything online and I'm going to use it as last resort. So after everything I have no clue how to do it! And to be clear what I want is a way to store the information in the .txt in a encrypted file that can be access, modify and so on...
