VS 2010 Find dates in listview

Hi

I made a very simple kind of reservation system. A selection of devices and 2 DateTimePickers. Start date and end date. These values is added to a list view.

ITEM-1 Start Date End Date

But I could really need som help how to check if the device is available or not. To avoid "over booking".
